  • Identifies everyone’s responsibilities towards social distancing, cleaning, maintaining good personal hygiene, and making other workplace arrangements
  • How employees can take care of their mental health and wellbeing when returning to work

This course outlines the need to assess the risks associated with Covid-19 and what control measures should be implemented to minimise the risk of transmission when returning to the workplace, such as:

  • Making arrangements for social distancing
  • Implementing regular and robust cleaning routines
  • Enforcing good personal hygiene
  • Providing PPE where necessary, given the risks and conditions

Employees are responsible for protecting themselves and others. The course emphasises that employees must comply with their organisation’s control measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, and what changes they can expect to be in the workplace.

It also describes how employees can better communicate with their managers about workplace processes and how they can better take care of their wellbeing during this time.

This course provides general information for how everyone in the workplace can mitigate the risks, but organisations will need to translate this information into specific actions, which will depend on the type of organisation, its size, and how it is structured, managed and regulated.
