Contractors must take the appropriate precautions to reduce the risks of workplace accidents.

Under the current Health and Safety legislation both Contractors and the organisation have a duty to comply with statutory obligations relating to health and safety matters in the workplace.

It is important to communicate any specific Health & Safety requirements contractors must comply with, such as site access, security and emergency procedures to ensure the safety of both the contractor and any other individuals working with them.

This course provides contractors with the appropriate information required to ensure they are aware of the types of hazards that can exist within a working environment, the control measures in place and the safe working procedures that must be maintained by the contractor.

The course will also explain the contractor’s obligations to ensure they protect themselves against health and safety risks as well as outlining the general code of behavior.

Main sections in this Contractor Safety online training:

  • Contractors Overview
  • Site Information
