Description
The IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors course is specifically designed for members of the executive branch of an organisation, particularly those who are involved in policy-making and strategic planning for health and safety such as Directors, Vice Presidents, Senior Executives and other Senior Managers.
The course covers the roles, responsibility and accountability that executives have to ensure health and safety best practice across their workforce. It also highlights how the success of a health and safety system can be measured, both in terms of its effect on the workforce and organisational performance.
The course can be completed at any time and any place, so training can be integrated into a users day to day activities without disrupting workflow.

Assessment
The IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors course requires users to create a personal statement as a final assessment.
This assessment exercise is marked by a recognised IOSH health and safety consultant.
Exam
There is no exam section as part of Safety for Executives and Directors course. A pass or fail grade is awarded on the merits of the personal statement assessment.
Certification
On completion of the IOSH Safety for Executives and Directors course, successful candidates will receive an email confirmation that outlines their performance.
A unique Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) certificate, complete with a user’s name and completion date will be dispatched within 2-3 weeks of completion via Royal Mail Signed for 1st Class delivery.
Course Duration
IOSH recommend that students spend around 8 hours completing the course, although training can be completed at their own pace.
